ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY: St. Patrick Parish in Hubbard will mark the one-year anniversary of the church fire on Tuesday. The candlelight procession will be at 6 p.m. from the front of the church to the parish center, where a Mass at 6:30 p.m. will commemorate the anniversary. There will be a live large screen in the parish center for those who want to watch the procession inside. The church is being rebuilt.
GIVEAWAY: God’s Warehouse food pantry, 2250 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, will host its monthly food giveaway 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. today. The drive-thru event will distribute nonperishable food.
SPECIAL EVENT: Second Baptist Church of Warren will host a virtual program “Wisdom of the Elders” with the theme Ladies of Legacy at 6 p.m. Monday on Facebook or YouTube. Pastor Todd Johnson will speak with community pillars about local history and hope for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

DIOCESE CLASSES: The Office of Religious Education / Evangelization of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is offering new online opportunities for adults seeking to learn more or deepen their understanding of topics in faith and Catholic Church practice. Online winter courses beginning Jan. 24 include “Elementary Catechesis,” led by Carla Hlavac; “Saints with a Heart for Creation,” led by Maureen Hall; and “Understanding Eucharist through Scripture,” led by Margie Hynes.
