This week’s Galveston County Animal Resource Center pets of the week are Gidget and Boss.
Gidget (A027372) is a 7-month-old, spayed female domestic short hair with a warm, brown tabby coat offset by white mittens and white on her chin and throat.
A “teenager” full of energy, curiosity and just a bit of mischief, we imagine “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” plays as her theme song while she romps and plays. Come on in if you’re looking for a fun, energetic and gorgeous girl.
Boss (A012853) is a 3-year-old male Plott hound mix, with a short brindle coat. His mellow demeanor is apparent because he remains calm whether in his kennel or in a yard.
Even though he doesn’t know many commands, he loves treats and learns quickly. He’s naturally polite and gentle, so we could easily see him in the future with a family, running with children in the backyard and living his best life.
Gidget and Boss will be available Tuesday through Thursday for $42.50 each. Pet of the week adoptions include spay or neuter, rabies vaccination and microchip. For more information, call 409-948-2485 or visit gchd.org. These and other pets are available at 3412 25th Ave N. in Texas City.
