The eastbound lanes are slowly reopening as emergency crews clear out the accident.
HOUSTON — Harris County law enforcement is working to clear up a crash on the Northwest Freeway in Cypress.
According to the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, there was an accident with a cement truck that caused it to roll over and lose its load. It’s not clear what caused the crash.
Precinct 4 Constable Deputies are working with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to handle the scene. Most eastbound lanes are closed near the 29300 block of the Northwest Freeway near Hempstead Road.
As of 2:20 p.m., two lanes have been reopened for traffic. The constable’s office is warning drivers to expect delays.
